All meat items come individually packaged, vacuum sealed, and frozen. (Some items may thaw during transit especially if your shipment gets delayed, but if the items remain 40F or below then they are still safe to consume. See this article for more info.)
UPS
We ship UPS orders in either a 12", 14" or 16" cube box (see photo below) or a combination of these with a thermal liner and dry ice. We pack plenty of dry ice to allow for most impediments that could occur during transit. The dry ice should also preserve your order until you can retrieve it from your doorstep, although we encourage you to do so as soon as possible. Instructions for handling any dry ice that has not dissipated can be found here.
The thermal liner is made from food waste and is compostable. Click here for more info.
