Things happen. Although rare, maybe your UPS shipment got delayed and took an extra day or so to get to you. Maybe your box is damaged in some way or the meat has thawed. Here's what to do:
- Don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
- If the meat is thawed, check to see if your meat is cold to the touch.
- If it is cold (40°F or below) then you can safely cook or re-freeze the cuts.
- If the meat feels warm, please discard and contact us, and we will make it right.
- Here's a link from the USDA about re-freezing.
- If the box or the product happens to be damaged, please take high quality pictures and email them to us.
We pack extra dry ice in each order to allow for mishaps, and in normal conditions our shipments are good for at least 4 days of transit time should delays occur.
